I'm staring into the eyes of this cop, the way he's gripping his baton and clenching his shield as if he's ready for war. It's these same tendencies and excessive force that led me exactly where I was, documenting this protest. Invoking fear in those you're suppose to protect; my mind has been so scattered the past few days once news surfaced about George Floyd's murder. I'm overwhelmed and utterly in shock with the response across the country and world, unifying hundreds and thousands of people embodying their beliefs. Policing has only regressed. Where's the reform?!
No Justice! No peace!
